CanvasXpress Support

Community support for everyone, and commercial support with a defined response commitment for organizations that need one.

CanvasXpress offers two support paths: community support for everyone, and commercial support for organizations that need a response guarantee. This page states what each provides so you can plan around it.

Community support (free)

Best-effort, provided by the maintainer and community. Appropriate for personal, educational, and non-commercial use.

  • Bug reports and feature requests: GitHub issues — https://github.com/neuhausi/canvasXpress/issues. Please include the CanvasXpress version, a minimal reproducible configuration (the JSON config/data), and the browser.
  • How-to questions: the examples gallery and the parameter reference cover most usage. Open a GitHub issue if the docs do not answer your question.
  • Response: best-effort, no guaranteed timeframe. Issues with a clear reproducible case are triaged fastest.

Commercial support (paid)

For organizations that require a defined response commitment, priority triage, and a named contact. Commercial support is available alongside (and is separate from) the commercial license — see the commercial license page.

Service-level commitment:

Tier First response Scope
Standard (business hours) 2 business days Bug triage, usage guidance, licensing questions
Priority 1 business day The above + prioritized fixes for reproducible defects affecting your deployment
Enterprise By agreement The above + a named contact and a scoped support agreement

Response-time figures are the target first-response commitment, not a resolution guarantee. Exact terms, hours of coverage, and pricing are set in the support agreement.

To arrange commercial support: email support@canvasxpress.org or use the contact page.

What support does not cover

  • Custom feature development (available separately by agreement).
  • Support for modified/forked builds of the library core.
  • Third-party integrations not published as part of CanvasXpress.

Security

Do not report security vulnerabilities in public issues. Email support@canvasxpress.org directly (see also GOVERNANCE.md).
